3INA – newly launched in SA
Today I get to tell you all about the makeup brand called 3INA , it is newly launched in South Africa and I am already loving the products I have tested out so far. 3INA is created to the highest professional standards and manufactured in Europe.
I find it so refreshing to see a new makeup brand is SA , Sometimes we need a little bit of excitement and a new range to try out and take a brake from the everyday favorites we are used to getting in the shops.
3INA launched their first South African store in Eastgate and they will soon be launching in Sandton this month and by the end of the year they will also have a Menlyn branch. This is great news for the JHB girls , the rest of the country however will have to bribe their JHB friends to buy for them.
I tested out the 3INA cream eye shadow and the automatic eye pencil, these products are of high quality and are long lasting. I also love the modern sleek look of the packaging, It reminds me a little of the NARS packaging.
3INA Cream eye shadow
The cream eye shadow is impressive, normally I do not like a cream shadow because often they get too cakey and crack and flake off. The 3INA cream shadow has a lovely texture and you can use a makeup brush to easily apply it and spread it to where you want it, you can get rather accurate with application with a brush. The only thing I noticed is that you should stick to one layer of the cream shadow, do not go over again with more because then it can look a bit cakey. It is also best to apply quickly because it dries fast and then is super long lasting and stays in place. Retails for R159-95 Here is what stood out to me:
- The fact that it dries so fast is wonderful, this means when you apply it it wont smudge around while you are blinking.
- I was very impressed with how long the effect lasted, It stayed on my eyes the entire day and still looked fabulous the evening.
- It is very pigmented, you only use a little bit of the product so the little pot will last a good long time.
3INA Automatic eye pencil
I have been using the Automatic eye pencil in shade 303, It is a lovely liner and glides on perfectly. It rolls out making it super handy and the end clips off to reveal a little sharpener you can use to keep the point sharp. Retails for R139-95 Here is what stood out to me:
- It is Long lasting, The line did not fade or smudge during the day.
- It applies smoothly even over eyeshadow and the cream eyeshadow.
- Handy roll out liner with sharpener on the other end.
I think the 3INA brand could definitely become popular in South Africa if it was more widely available, here is to hoping they open a Cape Town branch soon. You can have a looksy at the international 3INA site HERE and get an idea of the wonderful range they offer.
