Today I am going to tell you a little bit about Aramex Global Shopper and just a quick run down on how it works because I have one voucher for a lifetime Aramex global shopper account to give away to one of my lucky followers!
AGS is an international courier shipping service that allows you to shop overseas and then safely have your items forwarded to South Africa via AGS courier. This means you can basically shop online on any website in any country and be able to get the goods you want to SA. No more dreaming about makeup or tech gadgets that are not available in SA.
All you have to do to have access to AGS is sign up for an account and pay a once off lifetime membership fee of $45 (+-R630). Then you will be given your account that you can log into and AGS forwarding addresses from around the world which you then use to send your packages to. For each shipment, the courier fees (excluding custom duties and any applicable taxes) are calculated by weight and the price depends on which area of the world they come from. For example from US to SA it is R175 for your first half KG and then R99 for each additional half KG thereafter. Generally if you stick to shipments to the value of R499 and under then you do not get charged any customs duties or very little, as soon as you go over R500 then you could be liable for the customs duties and taxes.
