Vegan hair care!
I have been trying out the new INOAR Vegan range for just over a month now. I am happy to see a range that is vegan friendly and cruelty free and it still has the amazing quality and effect on my hair that the other INOAR ranges have.
This range smells like coconut and makes for a tropical island scent experience, a little goes a long way with both the shampoo and conditioner, I think INOAR is one of the only brands that I actually manage to finish the shampoo and conditioner at the same time, I think the concentration of the two is just right that I do not have to over do it with conditioner. I wash my hair once a week and my bottles last me up to three months so when you look at the price then just take that into consideration.
Animal products in hair care…
One of Inoar’s main philosophies is respect for life. All of our products undergo testing, but never on animals. The Vegan line has no ingredients of animal origin and was created to celebrate this attitude, to remember that you can – and should – choose cosmetics that maintain a respectful relationship with nature and animals. Products in the Inoar Vegan line are formulated using vegetable oils, such as coconut and olive oil, that penetrate deep into the hair fibers, caring for your hair with maximum performance.
A few people asked me “but are all hair products not vegan”. NO they are not, a quick and common example of an animal derived product in hair care is Keratin. Keratin is made from Protein from ground horns, hooves, and animal hair. Now I bet you did not know that! a quick google will get you a few more examples.
Did it do wonderful things to me hair…
Yes it most definitely ticked all the boxes when it comes to salon quality hair care. Packed with Coconut oil, Olive oil, Macadamia oil, Argan oil & Wheat Germ oil. Suitable for all types of hair
and promotes hair growth.
Left my hair very soft, smelling lovely and with a glossy shine to it, it also did a bit to help with the frizz, I am sure this is because of all the wonderful oils used in the range. With constant use over the last month and a half, It has left my hair looking healthy and I do not have to put as much effort into de frizzing and straightening, I make a whole week without having to wash so that helps me stick to one wash a week rule I have going.
But the Price…
The bottles are a generous 300ml and like I said above, I get about 3 months use out of them with my one wash a week rule so if you compare it to buying cheaper sets but having to buy every month then it works out a bargain for the quality in hair care. You get what you pay for when it comes to hair products and most general brands are definitely not vegan or cruelty free.
There are three items in the range and the pricing is as follows:
Vegan Shampoo 300ml – Price R320
Vegan Conditioner 300ml – Price R320
Vegan Treatment Mask 500g – Price R575
